  • Summary:

The world is divided into six different-colored territories. The Reds, Blues, Yellows, Oranges,

Greens and Violets. The color determines everything about you. Your

cultural and political identity. You are your color. The color unites but also divides.

Centuries of conflict forced these nations apart. And that’s how they remain. Separated. For the good of the people. Or so those in charge tell us. Despite their differences, there is one rule that each nation must abide by. A rule, that if broken, is punishable by imprisonment, banishment, or even death.

    Everyone must wear a MASK.

Not a metaphorical one. A literal mask. One that bears your home color. This mask DEFINES you as a person. It chooses where you call home. Who your friends and enemies are. Even who you can love.

People who inhabit the nations are called ‘chromes’. But there are those living out there who choose not wear a mask. Outcasts. Refusing to be categorised by any color.

The ones they call THE HARLEQUINS.
