  • Summary:

The true story of Francine R. told by her great nephew. Francine was a resistant and got deported by the nazis.
Ten years ago, Boris Golzio received a phone call from a great aunt he did not even know who wanted to share her story with a family member before passing away. She was a resistant, got deported in concentration camp and survived the many horrors of the nazi camps.
Golzio recorded her story on tens of mini-tapes then sat on it for a while wandering what to do with them. Being an artist himself, he decided to write Francine’s story in graphic novel to prevent her story and the one of thousands of other victims to fall into oblivion. Every word in this graphic novel are hers, only augmented by the research the author did to give historical context
